Stefan Pasborg is one of his generation’s most brilliant, inspiring, and visionary musicians, and over the past 20 years he has established himself as the most exciting drummer in Scandinavian jazz. After setting the festival ablaze with Odessa 5 and Ibrahim Electric, it is now time for another chapter in Stefan Pasborg’s musical journey.

The drummer has teamed up with two Scandinavian giants to create beautiful and original music, exploring both abstract realms and excursions into the past, the future, and the present moment. Pianist Carsten Dahl is equally at home in the bebop tradition as in classical music, as well as free improvisation, and conveys the most beautiful jazz ballads. Meanwhile, Fredrik Lundin stands firm as both a bandleader of his own projects and a compelling collaborator for Marilyn Mazur and Jon Balke.
